This is an animated loop of images that I took of my crazy sister Michele jumping out of an empty fountain. Hacía El Lago :: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina :: © 2003 Patrick Esmonde
Hacía El Lago  This is the cathedral of Bariloche from the lake shore. I can just imagine how beautiful the stained glass must be when the sun is rising in the morning.
Bariloche From The Lake :: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina :: © 2003 Patrick Esmonde
Bariloche From The Lake  This photo shows exactly what I have tried to explain to many people: Bariloche is in the middle of the mountains. You can see both of them here right next to each other.

Keeping An Eye On The Riffraff :: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina :: © 2003 Patrick Esmonde
Keeping An Eye On The Riffraff  I saw this hawk circling around the lake earlier that day. While standing on a pier later that day, it landed not 10 feet from me. The entire time, it just stared at me. I tried to be as calm as possible as I brought my camera to my eye and took this picture. I did succeed, however, as the shutter clicked--it launched into the air and flew away.

Rock Not In The Middle :: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina :: © 2003 Patrick Esmonde
Rock Not In The Middle  Why is the rock not in the middle? Because, silly, I panned my camera to the right. This photo doesn´t contain the meaning of life. If you try to look really hard you´ll just hurt your eyes.

Micro System :: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina :: © 2003 Patrick Esmonde
Micro System  This photo was taken of a small section of wetland that was about the size of my fist. Yes, it is very small. I put on the close-up lens and held the camera about 1 cm above the water and snapped this photo. It was the only patch of green in the area.
Scratching The Surface :: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina :: © 2003 Patrick Esmonde
Scratching The Surface  When I saw this layout, I immediately thought of a postcard of Japan, something from the 40´s or 50´s. A forced layout with a predictable form.
