  Photographer's Notes

This image was an ongoing experiment of doing long exposures while not on a tripod. I was walking while taking this image and while I did my best to keep the camera steady, the little motion that I did capture I am pretty happy with. I especially like the colors on the left.

Long Exposure Study  Opening the shutter for a longer than a second does something unique with exposures: aggregate light is delineated. Shadows brighten, motion disappears, and tracers of color blanket the compositions
