The Japanese House and Garden (Shofuso) is one of the most notable and unusual attractions in Philadelphia.
This shoin-zukuri (desk-centered) house, built in 16th century style, is located on the grounds of the Horticultural Center in the West Philadelphia section of Fairmount Park. The perfectly proportioned architecture of the main structure and adjoining tea house is enhanced by an ornamental garden and picturesque pond.

Every photographic print is individually cropped, color/density balanced, and then printed on traditional photo paper (AKA: Silver Gelatin). These are not inkjet prints and come with the same longevity and quality that is still associated with an "old fashion" print. Each image is printed to preserve the original crop and because of this, sometimes the image does not enlarge fully to the paper/frame size. Please review the information above to see how large the actual image size will be relative to the paper size. By not forcing the image to fit the size of the paper, the composition and integrity of the image is preserved. This also allows a margin for proper matting.
Each print comes in an archival storage bag that can be used to safely store your print until it is properly matted and framed. Please keep in mind that this bag is NOT UV protected and the image is not protected from fading while in the bag. This also allows for handling of the prin
