  Photographer's Notes

With the lack of modern conveniences such as spray paint, people still like to leave their mark. The agave plant is a good candidate for this and the marks last for the lifetime of the plant. This was a common sight throughout the countryside of Mexico.

Product Description

Paper Size:8" x 10"
Actual Image Area:6.47" x 8.63" (approx.)
Materials:Silver Gelatin Print, Archival Mat Book, Archival Storage Bag

Photograph
Every photographic print is individually cropped, color/density balanced, and then printed on traditional photo paper (AKA: Silver Gelatin). These are not inkjet prints and come with the same longevity and quality that is still associated with an "old fashion" print. Each image is printed to preserve the original crop and because of this, sometimes the image does not enlarge fully to the paper/frame size. Please review the information above to see how large the actual image size will be relative to the paper size. By not forcing the image to fit the size of the paper, the composition and integrity of the image is preserved. This also allows a margin for proper matting.

Archival Matting
Matting is museum-quality, book-style with a 4-ply mat window and 2-ply backing. Both boards are 100% rag board that are P.A.T. archival certified and have a pH of 9.0. The two pieces are hinged together on the long side with archival tape. The image is then taped on the corner
